That T2 is a fantastic tool Pete. I tried mine out for the first time a couple of weeks ago working on the seat for my shave horse. It’s very intuitive to use, and it’s not at all fatiguing for my hands.

I will say the audio in the video had me disbelieving for a bit my understanding about the usage. I found pushing natural and easier to control like using a CJ Shave. But, the audio made It seem like it was cutting on the pull stroke, even though I could see how the tool was working with the shaving direction and the brass in the front. Part of the problem of watching the video before reading your warning. Have you thought about also offering it in a larger radius as well for more finishing to reduce the amount of scraping the scalloped surface?

Also, just want to say I’m really excited to build the Birdcage Rocker this Autumn, and looking forward to next year’s class list.

Lovely comments Pete, your honesty and clarity is appreciated, along with the bloody good advice on making, perspective and materials. Give us older buggers a lot of heart!!
