I look forward to seeing it next time I'm at the MFA. I used to go see Dave's chairs there, it was great to be able to sit in them and feel the shapes, etc. They have 2 of Jennie Alexander's too, one on display now, but not in use. Same thing, they were worried because it's so thin & light. Some of the only chairs Alexander ever sold.

So very rewarding it must be for you and Aspen. I was really glad to have seen it, then watched as you ran all those samples to determine how you wanted the paint and finish to look. As well-deserved recognition of the creativity and work that you and Aspen consistently demonstrate and share.

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing the process, the inherent tension during assembly and then the painting/finishing. We were all along for the ride! What an honor.

Following the life story of the bench has been such a joy, and I am thrilled to see it in its new home! You and Aspen did a simply stunningly brilliant job. It's a masterpiece that belongs in a museum, but how wonderful that it will also be such a lovely place of respite for museum-goers!

Heartiest congratulations, Chair Sensei! 🍾🥂 We toast your success!

So great to see it migrate from the Shop! Brilliant to have it placed against the contrasting walls at the MFA. It will be fun to see where it moves about there over time, as well as what sitter experiences it will have over time! Congrats to you both.
