I’m in a mad dash to finish my house so I don’t have it in me to do a lot of long form writing right now, but I did manage to video a talk that I gave to my last design class on rockers. It’s about 20 minutes long, so I’m breaking it into smaller bits. The info is somewhat dense and my hair is kinda wild (I live in a tent).
I’m making this first part open to everyone and will make the rest available to my supporters here in the next posts. Here is a bit of joyous progress on my house. The drywall crew came through and did their thing and now I’m doing a plaster veneer and finishing the bathrooms.
The grey drywall is a plaster base, here is a shot of the plaster, I love the troweled finish. Just like my chairs, I shoot for perfection and settle for beautiful.
This is like a cheat code
Brilliant explanation of the design of a rocker.
Now could you explain string theory?
House coming along nicely!
