The Temple Stool is an enduring work of beauty -- like functional sculpture -- and I just can't wait to see the shop! And to talk you into thinking about getting a barn cat! 😺

Hello Peter. Is it possible to buy only the plans?

Andrea,

I haven't planned on it just yet. I created the materials to go together and may figure out some way to break them apart, but my recent goal was to make it all available.

I don’t want to dissent but $299 USD has priced me out the market. Have bought all of your plans, books and videos before but sadly this won’t happen for me. I guess there are plenty of wealthy people on here who can afford. I get it and respect that you can change this, I just feel like you’ve hit a different clientele now. Best of luck.

Tim

thanks for your input and your support. I understand your frustration. I think you might not understand my goal with this series. Folks travel from all over to take classes in person which costs thousands of dollars in tuition, travel, lodgings, lost work etc...which puts the educational content of the classes out of reach for lots of people. My goal with this was to collect all the content of the class, as best I could, into a package folks could access from home for just a few hundred dollars, rather than thousands. The investment of time and money to create the videos is substantial, not to mention offering the chair itself which is one of my most popular designs. I don't know if you are a hobbyist or professional, but the cost of the program could easily be recouped by selling just one chair. These factors go into the pricing and I believe are more than fair. I resisted calls from associates to price the series higher exactly because I value keeping them accessible. I appreciate your comment and patronage.

Sounds fair enough Peter. Thanks for the explanation and I appreciate the work you put in. I can tell that you really think about how you present your content.
