that's a great question and one that I nearly included in my list of personal compulsions. I love the pursuit of learning and experimenting, but it would be hollow if I never shared the effort and results. It's a constant challenge to find ways to communicate, everyone is at different levels and learns differently. Seeing the light bulb go off in someones mind is almost as satisfying as having it go off in mine.
Pete, which one of those three motivations does teaching fall under, if any? Is it the general sharing of knowledge or something deeper than that?
